Triacontanol

 Triacontanol

Triacontanol is a fatty alcohol that is present in the cuticle waxes of alfalfa plants.  Triacontanol acts as a growth stimulant for many plants by encouraging more basal breaks along the stem, resulting in “bushier” plant growth.  The effect of triacontanol is especially favourable for “branching-type” crops such as tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, kale, and flowering crops.  In grain crops, triacontanol helps increase tillering which has been found to have a positive effect on both yield and protein levels.

Triacontanol enables plants to uptake water and nutrients more efficiently and improves growth, yield, photosynthesis, protein synthesis, nitrogen-fixing, and essential oil production.  Triacontanol helps plants regulate transpiration, translocating sugars and other metabolites.  Triacontanol increases a plant’s resilience to stress caused by temperature, moisture, and nutrient deficiency.

Triacontanol is a natural growth stimulant found in every pellet of Alfalfa Green!
